What you'll actually get
Colorado hunting has news nearly every month: draw prep in January, the draw deadline in early April (April 7 in 2026), results in late spring, leftover licenses in summer, and openers from August on. Each email covers what is coming up and what changed:
- Deadlines. The primary draw, results, leftovers, and the rest of the deadline calendar, before they arrive.
- Season changes. When CPW publishes new dates or changes a rule that affects the calendar, it goes in the next email.
- Draw tips. Short, practical notes on points, units and timing.
- Occasional offers. Some emails include an offer from a Colorado outfitter or gear maker that we think is worth your time. We send those ourselves; the partner never gets your address.
One email a month, at most. If that is more than you want, every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Signing up also gets you a printable calendar of the 2026 deer, elk, pronghorn, bear and moose seasons (the same dates as the season calendar, laid out to print): the link shows as soon as you sign up and is in the welcome email.
What we do with your address
We use your email only to send this monthly email. We never sell or share it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately (replying "unsubscribe" works too) and our postal address, PO Box 203, Larkspur, CO 80118. We keep your address in our own private subscriber list. The full details are in the privacy policy. Delivery is handled by our email provider (Resend). This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics.
One thing the site does carry: some season pages have a short gear list with Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through them, at no extra cost to you, and if you click one, Amazon may set or read its own cookies on your browser. The disclosure sits above those links, and the privacy policy explains what Amazon can and cannot see.
Submitting the form means you agree to the terms and the privacy policy; we record which version of the terms was in effect when you signed up. If you unsubscribed before and want back in, signing up again will not override that (so nobody else can re-subscribe you); email [email protected] from that address and we will restore it.
